Cornelius is an incorporated city in western Washington County, located on Tualatin Valley Highway between Hillsboro and Forest Grove. Farmland surrounds much of the city, and its housing includes older homes near the town center along with newer subdivisions on its growing edges.

Buyers comparing Cornelius with neighboring cities often ask about commute routes toward Hillsboro's employers and about lot sizes. Noting the age of the home, any updates and whether it is part of an association helps present it clearly.

RMLS in Cornelius

Real estate agents searching the MLS can find your property and contact you using the contact information and showing instructions provided in your listing. Listings in this area are entered into RMLS, which serves the Portland metro area, including Multnomah, Washington and Clackamas Counties. The listing broker confirms the listing requirements that apply based on your property's exact address.

Your property information may also be distributed to Zillow, Realtor.com, and other real estate websites through MLS syndication and data-sharing arrangements. Each website independently determines which listings it displays and how the information appears.

Any buyer-agent compensation is negotiated separately outside the MLS. Compensation offers are not included in MLS listings.

Cornelius flat fee MLS questions

What MLS will my Cornelius property be listed on?
Properties listed through our Oregon service in this area are entered into RMLS, subject to applicable listing requirements. Your listing details are confirmed from the property's exact address during broker review.
How much does a flat fee MLS listing in Cornelius cost?
Our featured packages are Standard at $299 and Premium at $349, and either can be extended 6 months for $100. MLS availability and listing requirements depend on your property's location. Contact us with your property address if you're unsure which package applies.
How long will my Cornelius MLS listing remain active?
Both Standard and Premium run for 6 months. The optional Extend Listing upgrade adds 6 more months for $100, for 12 months in total.
Are there closing fees or commissions to us when my Cornelius home sells?
No. Your flat fee is paid once, when you order, and we add nothing at closing: no closing fees, transaction fees or success fees.
How many photos can I include with my Cornelius listing?
Standard includes up to 25 photos and Premium includes up to 50 photos.
What if my Cornelius property belongs to a different MLS?
Listings for this area through our service go into RMLS. Oregon has other regional MLS systems outside Oregon Data Share and RMLS; those areas are not automatically included in this service. Whether a particular property can be listed is confirmed during broker review, so send us the address if you have any questions before you order.
How do buyers and agents contact me about my Cornelius listing?
Real estate agents see your contact information and showing instructions in the MLS and can reach you directly. Unrepresented buyers searching on consumer websites such as Zillow or Realtor.com do not see your personal contact information; those sites typically show the listing brokerage's contact information or their own inquiry forms. Buyers who call the brokerage's published number may be forwarded to you or have the call handled by the brokerage, while inquiries sent through a third-party site's own forms may go to agents on that platform.
